Game of Thrones, the epic fantasy series by HBO returns for its 4th season this April 6. With the much anticipated comeback, GoT fans all over the web has been sharing their own creative interpretations of the show through various fan art tributes. And today, we here at YTD, dig into the Internet to collect some of the awesome fan artworks way back from the first run of the show.

Game of Thrones’ Ladies in Art Nouveau Illustrations
Artist and Tumblr user Ellin Jonsson has given popular ladies of GoT an art nouveau make-over using lovely pastel shades and illustrated in their graceful poses. The characters in the beautiful series of posters include Daenerys, Brienne, Sansa and Margaery.
Intricate Game of Thrones Vector Posters
Philippines-based digital artist, Vincent Rhafael Aseo, has created a self-initiated project featuring a stunning set of GoT fan posters in his unique vector illustration magic. The series include portraits of three of the most loved characters from the show, Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow and Tyrion Lannister combined with Aseo’s unique take on natural elements.
Cartoon-like Illustrations of GoT Characters
Sarah Anne Davis, who goes by the name of SADCAT on DeviantART has created her own take in illustrating some of the popular characters from GoT. Being in the animation industry, the Canadian artist has flawlessly drew the characters in such a way that they were really a part of a cartoon show.
Watercolor GoT Character Portraits
Kinko-White, traditional artist from Estonia has created an amazing series of drawing portraits on his sketchbook featuring fictional characters from LOTR, Dr. Who and more. Few of them also pay tribute to some GoT characters. Kinko mainly use watercolor for his sketchbook portraits but when combined with ink and silver/gold metal leaf flakes, a whole new visual feast is experienced!
GoT Wallpaper Series by Darren Geers
In anticipation for last year’s Season 3, U.S.-based digital artist Darren Geers, decided to create a series of GoT wallpapers mostly featuring the Stark family. The monochrome theme made this digital artworks so unique that it captured the mood of the characters.
Modernized Game of Thrones House Logos
Poland-based Illustrator Rav31 on Behance has redesigned some of the GoT House sigils and turned them into modernized logo designs. The resulting logos were surprisingly awesome!
Game of Thrones’ Cards by Simona Bonafini
Italian illustrator and graphic designer, Simona Bonafini has her own version of playing cards based from the characters representing each houses from Game of Thrones. Her unique illustration style and character design makes the whole deck extra intriguing!
Digitally Painted GoT Character Portraits
Ania Mitura, another Polish artist best known for her awesome digital paintings, has been creating photo realistic digitally painted portraits of various Game of Thrones characters. Based on the looks of the characters from the show, Ania perfectly painted the portraits down to the very details.
Countdown to Season 4: Every Death in GoT in Beautifully Illustrated Posters
And to end this post, here’s few of our favorites from the poster series illustrated by Robert Ball for HBO as a countdown to GoT Season 4. Called Beautiful Death, each poster with corresponding fan artworks, represent a key death from each episode of the show.
