Alright, so I have been creating a Flash website for school. I am quite new to Flash, so I am really not sure how to fix technical issues. Right now, I am having issues saving my .fla. When I go to save, I receive an error message that tells me that I need to save in a different location. I tried saving in numerous locations, and still no luck. Now, after trying to save again, all of my graphics have become invisible. I can see their bounding boxes, but not the actual graphics, movies, and buttons. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, did you figure out how to resolve the issue?
Are you using a Windows machine by chance? I have noticed several issues with Flash and Windows. It becomes very picky about some things. How did you place your graphics in the Flash fla file? Did you import them all to the library and then place on the stage or where you importing them dynamically using links to the graphics? If you were importing them with links to the graphics, it sounds like your path to the graphics changed likely to new place you saved the .fla file and you will need to update each graphic path or set them up again.
Without seeing your workflow or the .fla file... kinda hard to pinpoint the issue.
With graphics not being created in Flash, I would import them into the library. And yes, I am using Windows 7. But, I have it fixed now. I still had Adobe Master Collection 5 on my computer, along with cs5.5 (I have no idea why, I thought I uninstalled it). So, I uninstalled the older edition and and the file saved fine. On top of that, the files that I thought weren't saving before appeared in the .fla. I am not really sure why it did this....
