Yeah, all jobs in the graphic design industry is hell tiring. There are a lot of moments where you felt that your body is not anymore responding to what your mind dictates. Stress is always on our way and to get away with it is to unwind and relax for some time to relieve yourself.
Whenever I am already suffocated with lots of design projects, I take a break by watching Anime DVDs and take a nap for few hours before getting back to work. This gives me back my energy and get me going. If I have more time, usually over the weekend, I go mountain biking with my friends after a week of stressful work.
So how do you guys unwind from your hard days at work?
Typically, I work a 9-5 type of job and once I return home after a 45 minute drive, I am pretty wound up but tired of sitting at a computer. I tend to jump on Xbox 360 and play a few games of Call of Duty to relieve stress and relax. Other times, I tend to do some work around house or nap a couple of hours and I'm good to go.
The 45 minute drive can actually be a stress reliever - just less the traffic.
I usually pick up and read some comics to get away from all the stress at work. :)
well, i don't design, hehehe! seriously, i just get away from the PC and get out of the house and jog some distance. and if my nephews are around, i take them out for some off time.
hanging out with family members are pretty cool way to get out of those stressful work!
Hmmm... Playing PS3, Geocaching, Munzee, Photography (in a artistic way and not on a professional way), listening to music, watching movies or tv... Can't remember anything else at the moment.
Nice! Doing something productive like photography during off time is something to be proud of. Hope to see some of your photographs.
Adventure Time the cartoon is my guilty pleasure after a long day at work.
Yah! I love that one as well. Watching it with my kids are just so relaxing. :)
I just hit the couch and watch some television. That's if I have nothing at night.
just avoid some bad news reports on TV. :)
