A few days ago i was thinking about the evolution of internet browsers and the thousands of add-ons that they have nowadays.

So, just out of curiosity, what is your favorite browser and favorite add-ons on your browser?

I love Opera but it still needs some work done, i notice that it fails in some sites and has no html5 support, so i usually use Chrome and my favorite add-ons are "Search by Image (by Google), Shareaholic, Speed Dial 2, Stumbleupon and Xmarks Bookmark Sync."

I'm still up to this point a Chrome user. It just feels so convenient having all these add-ons ready to be grabbed through their "market".

Firefox is mostly reliable for "work" use. Since I can't get Chrome to give me those xray plug-ins.

Sometimes i use Firefox too, but in my opinion is becoming very slow. I also love Opera for mac, but isn't a perfect browser yet, it fails in some sites and doesn't very good handling html5.

I like Chrome because it has its add-on wherein you can sync all your saved bookmarks from your browser directly to your mail, so you don't have to worry of losing your important files and webpages if ever you encounter some browser problem.

I used to be an avid Firefox supporter but a few months ago I got fed up with how slow and buggy it had become. I still use Firefox for browser testing of websites but mostly I'm a Chrome user now. Chrome is clean, simple to use, a very fast.

The plugins I use the most on Chrome are turntable.fm plugins, firebug and web developer.

Favorite browser if Firefox mostly due to the available add-ons, the ability to sync and used to be one of most reliable and most supported browsers. These days, it is not the most supported browser as it seems webkit based browsers are taking over but I still use it most because of the add-ons such as FireFTP.

I am torn between Chrome and Safari as a second place browser. I like the Safari integrates well with my password manager but I think Chrome has more available add-ons that make it more useful.

i never used FireFTP, for FTP i've used CyberDuck and Transmit...

Yep... I have Transmit too at home. My favorite paid FTP app but at work, I don't have the option. I had tried Cyberduck once but gave up on it when it kept crashing on an older Mac and just have used FireFTP since for free alternative. I also like that it works cross platform since I have switched to a Windows machine at work.
