Hey just curious, what it your biggest pet peeve in regards to visual arts/imagery?

I'll start with people using pixelated images/low-res and/or not enlarging/shrinking them proportionally.

I now have a name for the font that annoys me.. Birth of a Hero =/

haha yeah, Bleeding Cowboys is used in the most inappropriate of places..

I think there already is.
I would love to have Comic Sans removed, also everyone of my friends have made a poster using bleeding cowboys! I thought it was okay at first but by the second poster I saw it on I deleted it from my computer. The only popular and easy to recognize font I want to use is good old reliable Helvetica.
yea i recently got helvetica, its so simple but nice,
Don't forget Papyrus. ;)

Every church, coffee shop and eco-conscious group or company within a 50 mile radius of me has that font as their "logo". Yuck.
Text placed on busy areas and red on grey...ewww
yea its tough to learn how to avoid busy visuals, and yea red on gray sounds gross
yeah, and when I say red, I mean pure red. Sometimes darker reds can go well with lighter greys. But, when that bright candy apple red is used on greys, it makes me dizzy and it is hard to read.
When a client or a supervisor/boss who has never done anything creative in their lives tell you to "jazz it up" or "give it some pizazz!" but can't (or won't) explain what they mean by "jazzing it up" or "giving it Pizazz". A meaningless adjective/buzz word isn't a critique or art direction.
"Make it POP more!"

"It needs to JUMP OFF the screen!"
I think I have nightmares of people saying that to me. :D
