Here's a quick concept poster for a design competition me and my friends are having each week... It's part of our design reps we are doing to get better at design, nd we figure there's no better way than to actually do it. Please critique, be thorough! :)

Furniture Poster Concept

P.S. if anybody wants to join in shoot me a message on Facebook, http://www.facebook.com/armando.loredo.5

I'll invite you to the group, it's not open to the public so you won't find it... Right now there's just 4 of us, so don't be shy, we're all learning :)

Ok, first off I have to start by saying that when I opened your post, I thought that there was a real advertisement in the middle of the page. But, I then realized that it was your concept. I love the colors for how aesthetically pleasing they are and the font you used is very clear and readable. There is really only one problem that I see. Your line spacing is very tight. Take a look at the "g" in "starting" and the "$399". The "g" is touching the "9" and it makes things look cluttered in that section.

I totally see you're point. Unfortunately, when I was working on it I just said, "meh, it's whatever." it bothered me for a bit, but then I just brushed it off. But I shouldn't have done that. I should have fixed it. Know I look at it and can't sleep at night, lol!

Colors are simple and nice. My question is what is the reason of having a lighter blue band behind $399. I am not sure it is necessary since you have a gradient behind it, and the price is already noticeable enough
