I was discussing with a friend the way each one prepare the final file for printing.
I don't know the right term for it in english, in Portugal we call it the "printing plan".
So, how do you guys prepare your business cards (for example) for printing, having in mind the bleed and all that?
I don't know if i'm doing this right, this is an example for business cards. How do you do yours?
Share your layouts here, i bet our members will learn a lot with them.

This is a business card I have prepared. It is according to what the printer requested. Its a recto verso job to be printed on a 33cmx22cm sheet

Thanks for sharing.

I have made minor amendments to the final design, and it is printed and now posted on my blog :) http://www.alaakabalan.com/2012/03/farah-afra.html

Looks great ;)

I tend to use printers that do the layout for me. I just supply my design and they do the layout and cutting for reasonable price in the US.

When I did my own on an inkjet in past, I used a layout similar to what Alaa posted but sized to fit 8.5"x11" paper.
