Hello

I am a graphic designer and i am thinking of buying a printer that prints up to A3 and up to 300 grams of paper. The reason is that i want to print business cards posters and flyers by myself instead of going to the print shop and maybe earn some extra money.

The other thing that i wanted to know, is if buying the printer is more profitable for me or not because at the  end maybe its more expensive to buy inks etc.

Can someone help me and tell me witch printer would suit my needs?

Thank you.

I've seen an infographic related to this, maybe it could help? http://p.printingchoice.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/local-printi...

Thank you! I will check it out.

I wouldn't waste my time and money. Find a good printer (or printers) and stick to them. Build a relationship, rather then trying to compete. You'll lose out in the end, this isn't exactly a business that's easy to break into.

Thank you.
