I have been just toying around, experimenting a little with simple projects, even watching several tutorials. This because I want to become an amateur at Graphics, and no, I don't expire to be a Freelancer in any respect. I just love the Art and Science of it.

Anyways, I have an interest in creating a ' Realistic Looking Moon '. And when I Google a Tutorial in respect to what it is I seek, that being a ' How to Create a Realistic Moon ' in Illustrator? , I get a few in Photoshop, but nothing in Illustrator.

So I come to realizes I am out of luck on any type or form help, so I have decided to go at it alone and just toy around till I get what it is I am wanting.

So I was thinking maybe use the ' Gradient Mesh ' for the most part, then the ' Pen Tool ' for the little extras.

I kinda wish there was a Graphic Style I could use, but I can't seem to find any.

Anyway's, does anyone agree with me that the ' Gradient Mesh ' is a good start? And if not, what suggestions/approach would be more practical?

Thank you.....
