So I recently made a web tool to add a watermark to images (my watermarker). Its intention is to help new graphic designers watermark their images and designs easily. But I am wondering what you guys use to watermark you images. So far I've heard a lot of people saying that they use Photoshop, but more specifically they use Photoshop's actions feature.
I intend to further develop my watermarking tool, and it would be helpful to know what other kinds of ways people accomplish this task.
Thx for your time
This is really very nice post. You suggest nice use of watermark. It would be really very helpful to know what other kinds of ways people accomplish this task.
I typically like to watermark my designs by implementing it into the design on Photoshop.
That way, it will provide a safeguard against copiers and blend in with the design.
I would have to agree. I would rather watermark it myself in Photoshop so that the original ps file would have the watermark layer. An easy way for a designer to create their own watermark to use on all their designs would be to just use their logo in Photoshop. By doing so, it is more likely that they would be able to prove their ownership and it would give it the watermarked image a personal touch.
I am not a big fan of Watermarking because I think it takes away the balance and beauty of the work
But if I have to do it I use PSD or AI
developing a watermarking tool is great.
Great post and very useful for me, I am making my own website and I think this watermarking for the image will definitely help me.
