Hello Everyone! I hope everyone is doing good. I was just wondering that which field is more good if we think for scope. I know it depends on person's interest and passion. But generally speaking which one is more best?

I think Web is more profitable for freelancers as getting web projects are more easy and there are many out there. On the other hand, animation or motion design projects are difficult to get and there are not many as compared to web. If you go into motion design / animation then it would be mandatory for you to do full-time job.

What do you guys think? Share your thoughts please! :)

Which is better depends on what is most important to you. In job sense, it is like comparing apples to oranges. They both require very different skill sets.

It is true a web designer can probably find more work but, the each project is probably likely to pay less than a comparable project in motion graphics. Those designers tend to demand higher salaries than web designers thus actually can work less for same amount as web designer.

I personally would prefer motion graphics because it is more visual design and less coding and I think due to the cost, would most likely be working for bigger clients etc.

Yes, i agree with that. I myself is a Graphic Designer and choosing between Web and Motion Design for my further learning. Motion Design is more visual and creative. Web needs coding too which most designers don't like.

Coding is cool as long as you have an imagination of what you want to create and the knowledge how to make your dreams real and that is why coding enables us to produce amazing things.
