25 Hand-Lettered Logo Designs of Various Countries

by . February 6th, 2015

How would a country look like if it is a hand-lettered logo?

Alphabet of the Countries, is a non-commercial project by Russia-based graphic design company, Zergutdesign Studio. The main concept of the project is to create a series of hand-lettered logos that will represent the visual identity of various countries. The logos depict images or elements that illustrate our notion of a particular country (e.g. Kangaroo’s tail for Australia, Maple leaf for Canada, and The rising sun for Japan.)

One country was chosen from each letter of the English alphabet to be included in the project. Each letter except for “X” because as of now, there is not a single country name that starts with this letter. The logo designs were all hand-lettered (use of fonts is strictly forbidden with the exception of the small captions) and digitally-enhanced.

If you don’t find your country, don’t worry because the studio may include it in their next version of the project.
