You! Be Inspired! – Amazing Editorial Design of Atelier Olschinsky

by . March 15th, 2013

Editorial design is one branch of design that deals with the understanding and usage of a design for magazines, books and newspapers.

This particular branch of design often involves a collaborative work between an editor, art director or designer and illustrator or photographer. But more often than not it is sometimes just the job of the art director or designer to work out the design and the images that will be used. In editorial design, the art director or designer is also tasked to work on the typefaces that will be used and how the hierarchy of visuals are going to be ordered and arranged.

Today we are going to take a look at the editorial design works of Atelier Olschinsky. A two-man design team of Peter Olschinsky and Verena Weiss, based in Vienna, Austria. Their main focus is in illustration, graphic design and photography. With such a diverse portfolio it comes to no surprise that their works are often featured in numerous blogs and design websites.

That is why today we at You the Designer are going to feature this amazing design studio for your dose of inspiration!
