If you are an aspiring artist and your medium is ink and paper, the best way to get noticed in the huge world of illustration is to create a unique style and execution of your own. One amazing example is the work of French artist Nicolas Jolly. His black and white illustrations are commonly made using black ink but his drawing style is in a whole new level.
The drawings of Nicolas Jolly are one of their kind. His intricate works appear to be made out fingerprint patterns when you look closely. Made out entirely with blank ink, he creates works with busy lines and movements yet deliver a calming effect as these lines embrace the whole composition. His landscape and portrait illustrations depicts his passion for fine art and architecture with patterns resembling a bit of the Van Gogh style of post-impressionist artworks.
