"Why are stock images expensive? If you go to places like shutterstock.com or dreamstime.com, they are around $5-10 for a large enough image to print on a poster. Yeah you may see the same image somewhere else, but that doesn't happen too often,…"

Cheap stock photography websites, such as dreamstime, shutterstock and many others, do you use them in your advertising/promotion projects? Do you organise photo-shoots instead? Maybe use other more premium stock websites, such as gettyimages?And how about vector design elements and backgrounds for logos and/or general artwork, do you always create your own or prefer to purchase and alter what is already available?What are your opinions, experiences or suggestions regarding the above?See More
