Dean Neitman replied to Edgar Almeida's discussion 'Preparing a Job for print and cutting'
I tend to use printers that do the layout for me. I just supply my design and they do the layout and cutting for reasonable price in the US.When I did my own on an inkjet in past, I used a layout similar to what Alaa posted but sized to fit…

Yep, I agree with Eric. I am already thinking of ways to add more information regarding client education to my next portfolio site build... the reason why professional design maybe worth their investment both in short term and long term goals. I…

I followed... I setup a Tumblr about a year ago as just a way to catch and share some of the cool imagery and ideas I came across and liked the simplicity of it. synthetictone.tumblr.com

Just Jumped into iOS Developing

Posted on October 18, 2011 at 12:58pm 2 Comments

After playing with tons of apps for last couple of years, have decided it is about time to start making apps. Just joined the Apple developer program and looking forward to getting started.

So far, I can honestly say that it appears someone made this process of app development way too complicated for some odd reason. Granted with time, it will all seem easier but the initial impression leaves a big learning curve to overcome.

Talking and Creativity

Posted on September 28, 2011 at 4:57am 1 Comment

I was having one of those days that I needed to work throughout the day with my headphones on to concentrate and really be creative. I had lots to do and all the chatter around me was just too distracting.

In my experience, many times those that talk the most seem to provide the least amount of creativity, attention to detail and sometimes, the least amount of output. Yes I am creating a stereotype and no it doesn't apply to all but I think it does fit most.

Posted on August 12, 2011 at 9:36am 3 Comments

I had been looking around on various websites posting freelance jobs with most being just simple contract type of work and was really disappointed in the value most were offering for services. Some weren't even touching minimum wage when you consider time needed.

Then, I thought about how much I would like to make per hour which is a price I set a couple of years ago. This is taking in consideration computer equipment, software, time, taxes, and honestly, my personal amount…
