New Abstract tees

Hello all,

We at Spicetag have created a new set of T-shirt designs for our Abstract range. We've had these designs for a while and we've now finally got around to putting them on our T-shirts.

The 'Runes' themselves were hand painted and optimised for T-shirt printing. There are more of these style designs to come - below are some examples but you can view the whole new set at the blog…

9/11 T-shirt

We've created a T-shirt honouring the rescue workers and serving remembrance of the lives lost from the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

We designed the T-shirt in regards to the tenth anniversary of the attacks, and the T-shirt is to symbolise hope and the spirit of comradery.

The design is based upon the famous photograph of American soldiers erecting the American flag at Iwo Jima, WW2.

All the best,…

Legends of the 80s

At Spicetag, we like to experiment with designs that show the contrast between beauty and power.

We find that this was best seen during the 1980s, when the true supercar was engraved in motoring history with creations from Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche to name but a few. Styling took over practicality with over-sized (and to some extent unnecessary) spoilers and wheels, and speed was king.

Some of the most…

Let’s Care

The more you come close to me, the more I see fear in your eyes. People even shy away from my shadow. Some hesitate to share square feet, where I breathe. The one who used to smooch me every second, now even fears to give me a mercy glance. Every day, I encounter death in eyes of my parents. They do care, but hesitantly. I won’t blame them, after all everyone loves to remain alive. This 330 square feet room is my dark world, where I roam in past and haunt in the future. I’m…

Life Is No More.

We often start our day with smiles of our loved ones. Every day, we leave our homes to meet new challenges and explore new horizons. Most times, we encounter pleasant surprises and sometimes an unpredictable shock. The unpleasant shock steals everything from us.

Life is unpredictable and so is death. Aged parents, loving wife, and your innocent daughter might be waiting for you to return from office, but who knows? Death might have overpowered your destiny.…

Why You Might Want to be Cautious of the Newly Released Prefixr

One of Tuts+ editors, Jeffery Way, just released the really awesome tool, Prefixr, that combats the stress of cross-browser compatibility. It's a simple tool used to make your CSS code cross-browser-prepared. A problem occurs unexpectedly and unnoticeable, though, which you must be aware of.

You are initially finished with your CSS. You've added all of the necessary…

To Go Cheap or Hold Firm On Price

I had been looking around on various websites posting freelance jobs with most being just simple contract type of work and was really disappointed in the value most were offering for services. Some weren't even touching minimum wage when you consider time needed.

Then, I thought about how much I would like to make per hour which is a price I set a couple of years ago. This is taking in consideration computer equipment, software, time, taxes, and honestly, my personal amount…

T-shirt/picture frame - difference?

One avenue that really appeals to me is printing hand-drawn artwork - that created either by marker rendering, pastels or oil/acrylic on canvas. Usually, I see artwork at a gallery, a museum, online or at someone's home, but I love the idea of having a piece of artwork put straight on a tee - so anyone you walk past could appreciate it.

At Spicetag we've created artwork that not only do we have on the walls of our homes but offer as T-shirts.

See our lastest…
