I was having one of those days that I needed to work throughout the day with my headphones on to concentrate and really be creative. I had lots to do and all the chatter around me was just too distracting.
In my experience, many times those that talk the most seem to provide the least amount of creativity, attention to detail and sometimes, the least amount of output. Yes I am creating a stereotype and no it doesn't apply to all but I think it does fit most.
Where do you draw your creative inspiration from? Movies? Music? Your favorite design blog? Or maybe inspiration is everywhere, just waiting to be found. How much do you let the inspiration dictate the outcome of your work? I would love to hear about the thought process of other creatives and how you get motivated to start a new design.
