I live in the U.K, i studied at King's Lynn College and Norwich City College, subjects: GCSE ART, IGNVQ ART&DESIGN, BTEC NATIONAL DIPLOMA GRAPHIC DESIGN.
My background was drawing, making logo's and then the Graphic's came in, i love mixed media both hand rended and by computers, while i was still at college i did some assistant work with teenagers in a 2D 3D workshop, and was offered to help at a school but turned it down. This was because i wanted to concentrate on my education, when i left college, i did some branding for a lighting company, then made props for an event 'rocky horror picture show', Then i worked at The Norwich Puppet Theatre, for 2 and a half years!
I had an idea, as being a fan of the popular 1980's U.K Children's weekend Show No. 73, to make a tribute episode, which would involve making life size sets, writing scripts, filming, acting (done before).
My family and friends got involved, people liked it, even abroad and old fans of the original show! we went to the newspapers, film festivals and 2 radio staitons for interviews.
The gang ended up making 3 new episodes, and included 10 cast members across with 2 new 'Tweep The Bird' and 'The Fur Snatcher'.
With the success of No. 73, I wanted to do something totally different, something at the other end of the spectrum!
Zey The Mouse came along, Fimo figures, which are copyrighted, as this is my own idea! This was new to me animation, and i'm glad i'm venturing it, because it's blooming amazing!!
Currently making the first ever episode called 'Chestnut Hall', i have learnt a lot over the months through peoples kind support and interest, and wacthing others great animation films! This will i'm sure be the best thing out of everything i have ever made!! with a lot of experiments and taking as long as it takes.
The story has been written by my writer Jonathan Smith, i need to complete the two new characters Mr and Mrs Frog!
