I was having one of those days that I needed to work throughout the day with my headphones on to concentrate and really be creative. I had lots to do and all the chatter around me was just too distracting.

In my experience, many times those that talk the most seem to provide the least amount of creativity, attention to detail and sometimes, the least amount of output. Yes I am creating a stereotype and no it doesn't apply to all but I think it does fit most.

I get picked on jokingly for not talking a lot but... I think my work shows where my focus is. Does anyone else see this trend in others or is it just me being biased?

yeah, i guess you are right. also do get picked on for not talking and being sociable. But then again, it does not apply to all as you mention it yourself.
