The Creative Class – a conversation with Industry Greats

The Creative Class – was a group of intelligent people who would try to be catalysts of social and economic development in the modern world. In 2002, Richard Florida wrote about a group of remarkable individuals – a pool of people who were made up of knowledge workers, designers, intellectuals and artists who could play an important role in the shifting of the developing world. It’s hard to believe that 2002 was a decade ago, and the technological landscapes have moved The Creative Class aims to be the shifting in the tide.

Right now the current goal is to make a series of at-work Interviews with top-industry professionals to comment on the relationship between creativity and technology.

The Creative Class – according to the Co-Founder and CMO of WeTransfer Nalden is:

Still under it’s soft opening – the Creative Class has already worked with a number of influential names such as: Damon Albarn, Tim Dixon, Marc Hare, Fred Deakin and Stefan Sagmeister. All of which have conversations that are entirely worth watching.

Sagmeister in particular is a design legend. Sagmeister has lead an illustrious career, working closely with musicians such as: Lou Reed, The Rolling Stones Aerosmith and OK GO. Along with giving some really empowering Ted Talks on what it means to be a designer.
