The Future of Computer Design

by . October 8th, 2007

Touch screen based technology has been around for a long time but companies are really starting to go past the initial boundaries and make these advanced computers more mainstream. I have collected several videos that showcase what the next generation of computers will be like. These computers have no keyboards and no mice, and it’s all hands-on interactive computing.

It’s incredibly amazing, and blows anything we have ever seen out of the water. I think it’s only a matter of time before this becomes totally mainstream. Although, how programs like Photoshop and Illustrator would transfer over to a computer of this nature is a mystery to me.

Imagine the Possibilities

I find myself imagining how specific tools would work in Photoshop and Illustrator if I had to use my hands to create everything on the computer screen. Enjoy and let me know how many years you think it will be before I’m posting on my blog using one of these computers!
