What is RSS?

by . November 8th, 2007

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and it is a technology thats provides you with an easy way to keep track of your favorite websites and blogs. The way you are probably used to keeping track of websites is by bookmarking them, but this is much more time consuming and bothersome compared to the new RSS technology.

How Does RSS Work?

First choose your favorite RSS reader such as the popular Google Reader or Bloglines. Next all you have to do is subscribe to your favorite websites that have RSS feeds available such as ours!

Now all new posts will show up in your RSS reader from all of the websites you have subscribed too. This will make your life so much easier, especially if you check many websites each day.

Where Can I find a Website’s RSS Feed?

Most websites (including ours) have some sort of orange icon with the RSS symbol or text on it, placed in a prominent location such as the top right of our site. You should also see the orange RSS feed icon in your browser’s web address bar to the right of the website URL.
