Theron Humphrey is a photographer, storyteller, and a guy who generally loves to passionately document every project he works on. With his gorgeous brown and white spotted coonhound companion, Maddie, Theron already completed a book highlighting his tour across the entire continental United States. Theron is perhaps best known for his photographic series, ‘Maddie On Things’, which involves documenting Maddie perched on a surprising array of everyday objects.
Maddie is an amazing and brilliant dog who can stand and balance on anything. I love her photo series because they are set in the real world as opposed to a studio setup. Most of Maddie’s photos are really amusing and quite funny. They’re the kind of photos that make one a dog lover. And while looking at Maddie’s pictures, I felt really excited about the idea of having a dog like Maddie.
