We’ve noticed that photographers and dogs somehow make a great team when it comes to making photos. We’ve seen photos of dogs in mid-bath, a rescued dog and his boy, and human-like portraits of dogs. Which is why before the year ends, we are featuring these kooky greeting cards by Peter Thorpe.
Every Christmas, clients of the England-based photographer Peter Thorpe are given something nice from him. With the help of his pets, Peter—along with the help of his family—photographs their dogs in order to create these wonderful greeting cards. For 20 years, 3 kids, and 2 dogs according to Peter — their humble family tradition remained the same.
Instead of using Photoshop, Peter relies on actual sets and props. His props and setups are very elaborate to the point that you’d wonder if he does have a professional prop-maker. We are also envious with how cooperative Thorpe’s two dogs are.
Apart from that, Peter also included behind-the-scenes photographs of his shoots and it includes some photos showing how he directs their wonderful dogs to be camera perfect.
