Baron Fig, a business known for their beautiful notebooks and sketchbooks, recently launched The Poster Project. The project is a series of inspiring posters by designers, or “thinkers” according to Baron Fig, from around the world. Each artist was given an inspirational quote by famous people such as, “less talking, more doing” and Benjamin Franklin’s “One today is worth two tomorrows.” They were then tasked to design a poster using the line with a simple color palette.
One by one, the 12 designs were revealed over the course of May 2014 and 50 limited edition silk-screened posters each artwork will be sold on June 2-30, 2014.
While each poster used unique design styles, the series was unified by its delicious color palette and brought focus on each inspiring line featured.

Artist: Pablo Pintachan (illustrator & designer living in the north of Spain)
Artist: Jen Mussari (Jack of all trades / Master of a couple)
Artist: Tuesday Bassen (award-winning Illustrator, Designer, and Art Director living in New York City)
Artist: Matt Chase (designer & illustrator living and working in Washington, DC)
Artist: Daniel Fishel (illustrator and hand letterer from the Keystone State, based out of Queens, NY)
Artist: Melody Newcomb (freelance illustrator who lives in Brooklyn NY)
Artist: Ricky Linn (graphic design student at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California)
Artist: Trevor Rogers (“I enjoy working with charities and helping people through design. I also like beagles.”)
Artist: Andrew Colin Beck (American graphic designer and illustrator living in Amsterdam)
Artist: Chris Moran (His poster is all about the balance between Order and Chaos, derived from the gods/brothers Apollo and Dionysus. It’s also a reference to the meaning behind the name Baron Fig)
