Independence day is never complete without a stunning show of fireworks. That is why for this special day we are going back in time and check out some really cool and amazing packaging design for fireworks!

No Independence Day celebration would be complete without a spectacular firework show. Fireworks has been around since the ancient days and to this day no big event concludes without a proper bang. Going back to history, the first commemorative Independence Day fireworks was set off on July 4 of 1777.  It was John Adam’s idea to commemorate Independence Day with fireworks as part of the festivities. According to historians fireworks were repurposed military munitions that is used to entertain than frighten and kill.

We here at You the Designer are psyched about the fireworks! But for now let’s check out some amazing vintage fireworks packaging to commemorate today’s event and also to quench your thirst for design inspiration.
